Recently Jim Long President-CEO Genesus Inc. and Clarence Froese Director of Nutrition gave a presentation on Genesus Nutritional Recommendations. The presentation highlighted the philosophy of Genesus, why we did the nutritional work, how we did the nutritional work, the results from this information, how feeding Genesus pigs differ from other genetic companies, and the economics of what it all means.
This presentation shows how Genesus got here through hard work and pouring millions of dollars into research. We have a very competitive cost of production vs. other genetic companies. Finding the optimal way to feed our pigs in order to make it the most economically viable for producers while at the same time producing great tasting pork for consumers to enjoy has been our mission and continues to be.
