Twenty-seven pork producers with each owing over 100,000 can claim the title of Global Mega Producers this year. The Mega Global Producers are as diverse as their geographic location.

Pipestone System is a one of a kind business mode of which shareholders are farmers across the Midwest USA that share common values in family, animal care, and bringing the next generation back to the farm. Operating since 1942, today Pipestone Systems shareholders own over 200,000 sows.

Each owner receives an allotment of pigs based on shares owned and preferred schedule. Sow barn employees are hired, trained, compensated, and motivated through Pipestone System. Supervisors, veterinary professionals, and employees embrace System core values that emphasize ethical treatment for animals.
